My business model

My business model, broken down a bit:
1) Your session
2) Your viewing
3) Your product
Being a full service portrait photographer, means going to print, believe me, this is a whole new level of skill required. I have kept my product offering simple, and I trust my suppliers to produce quality for my clients.

Yay, yay, it’s friday, and it’s my moon and stars weekend.

Wishing a safe, warm happy weekend to all 🙂

Much Love

We are always beautiful

Before my viewings, I interview my clients to learn about their experience and feelings doing a session with me.

I believe that the experience is a healing in itself, whether it be a confidence booster, self esteem booster etc. There is nothing like seeing yourself through someone else’s eyes (and I have said this before, I have a gift in this department – I only see beautiful, when I am photographing)

I touched on this with an earlier post for Mari, who has motor neuron disease, this is a terrible, degenerative disease, and my heart goes out to Mari, who has no use of her legs anymore, but yet she is still smiling.

during her interview, she said something profound to me, and this is what I want to share here:

When I asked Mari, why she did her session with me, this was her reply:
She related to my own disability, and her disability hurts her and makes her sad, but she did it to prove that her illness does define her and she is still beautiful. she added, no matter what your challenges are – you are still beautiful.

So ladies, today, look in the mirror and repeat after me:
“I am beautiful, I am enough, I am worthy, I am AWESOME!”

Boudoir Photographer

Ursula T “Why did you choose me?”
Leandri ” because of the honesty in your posts, that I could relate to and your beautiful pictures”
Ursula T “Why did you do it?”
Leandri ” you inspire me, and I wanted to see myself through your eyes”
Ursula. T ” How did you feel before your session?”
Leandri” Nervous and excited at the same time”
Ursula. T ” How did you feel during your session?”
Leandri ” Exposed lol, but it was fun running around in my underwear for the day, I felt free”
Ursula. T ” How did you feel after your session?”
Leandri ” exhausted and empowered, accomplished”
Ursula. T ” How do you feel now, after your viewing?”
Leandri “Unreal, I feel so beautiful”
Ursula. T “What would you tell potential clients?”
Leandri “Go for the experience, the truthfulness of knowing yourself differently”

Good Morning 🙂

This is Leandri, and she is so beautiful! This was an emotional session, there were lots of tears shed, lots of laughs too, and then a few more tears.

I think in itself, this is a very healing experience, and I am a good listener, and I love giving hugs! Even if I have to do it sitting down 😉

Come try me ladies, I won’t disappoint you.

Trying to get my ursulaT mailbox working (my website domain has changed to Ursula-t.com) but I am technically challenged! That is my mission for the week (then my brand has been changed) then I will be working on a fancier website – I might need lot’s of wine for this exercise, but I will do it (Wish me luck)

Leandri, you are beautiful, thank you for trusting me, thank you for sharing, thank you for supporting my dream.

Much love
Ursula. T

To all the ladies that I have had the privilege of photographing, to all the ladies that I will in the future.

I remember you, I remember all your stories, I remember how you looked and how you posed, how you smiled and how you laughed, and how you helped me and how you loved me as I am (funny walk and all).

Your portraits made with heart, soul and love by me, are your reminder of me (I always hope this will be an amazing memory, because a piece of my heart now hangs on your walls i.e hang your portraits please – yes I’m nagging!).

It’s my moon and stars weekend aka Angelique (my baba), so friggen excited!

Have a happy, safe peaceful one.

I will be posting more portraits next week, after my viewings, keep a look out – there are some beautiful ones on it’s way. Just in case you are wondering, I only ever post portraits to my page, after my clients have been to their viewing – I keep the magic for their eyes first 😉

Much love

Woman’s day competition winners

For those that remember, I ran a woman’s day competition, that went viral, which I am grateful for, it was rather exciting.

Belinda was my winner, and her bestie Lara joined us from Durban. What a special day this was for me. They are simply amazing, I really do get to meet some amazing women in my life, I am blessed.

So the prize was my extra large canvas valued at R12,000.00, which is almost life size. But as it was a double makeover, I wanted both of them to have their own canvas, so that is what we are doing, each will get their own large canvas, (total value R12,000.00)

Here is what we did and this is one canvas chosen. I love shooting black on black, it is gorgeous, and just look at my pretties from the session.

Have a beautiful day all.

Much love
